About Us

CHENA RIVER KENNELS is located on 5 wooded acres on the banks of the beautiful Chena River between Fairbanks and North Pole, AK. We are a small hobby kennel, breeding Labrador Retrievers. We take pride in our breeding program with the lab temperament, hunting abilities, and the breed standard in mind.
      All of our dogs and litters are registered with the American Kennel Club. Our dogs have their hips OFA and eyes cleared annually. Our labs are bred for obedience, hunting, show service or to be wonderful companions. We are members of the Tanana Valley Kennel Club, Fairbanks Retriever Club, and Labrador Retriever Club of Alaska.
